Welcome to Cloud-9 Bethalto Sports League, a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to making sports accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone in our community. Located in Bethalto, IL, Cloud-9 is more than just a sports league—we are a hub for growth, camaraderie, and community-building.

At Cloud-9, we believe that sports have the power to transform lives. Our mission is to empower youth and adults through programs that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development. From pre-K to 8th grade and beyond, our leagues are designed to nurture confidence, develop skills, and instill a love for the game in every participant.

How It Started

Cloud-9 Bethalto Sports League was founded in 2024 by Adam and Kait Jones, who reside in Bethalto with their two children, Addison and Lincoln. A lifelong resident of Bethalto, Adam graduated from Civic Memorial in 1996 before continuing his education at SIUE and Lindenwood University. His family has deep roots in the community, with his parents and grandparents owning Gene’s Appliance in Alton, IL.

When Adam and Kait returned to Bethalto in 2021, they noticed the absence of organized youth sports through local parks, recreation programs, or organizations like the Boys and Girls Club. Motivated to fill this gap, they launched Cloud-9 to provide youth sports opportunities for the community. Despite balancing their full-time careers, Adam and Kait are passionately dedicated to the league, working tirelessly to create meaningful opportunities for families and fostering partnerships with local businesses through sponsorships. They take great pride in giving back to their community and enriching the lives of young athletes and their families.
